My Story
I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana into a prosperous Southern family. New Orleans and my home were places of contradiction and confusion, but abundant in things of the soul. My work reflects a vision of a world of seemingly incompatible forces existing together in perfect harmony.
I have spent the past three decades in pursuit of looking and observing and making note of small human size events. As a painter, sculptor, and draft person, I have honed my craft to tell the intimate story of a time in which time has become warped beyond our ability to see the ground upon which we stand. If it is possible to quiet the noise and clatter and confusion that our modern world has brought upon itself, I will make every effort to do so.
